剛果民主共和國（Kong-kó Bîn-tsú Kiōng-hô-kok; 法文：République démocratique du Congo；英文：Democratic Republic of the Congo）佇 非洲中部，早前(1971–1997)號做薩伊(Zaire)，隔壁的剛果共和國(Republic of the Congo)是另外一國，其他的隔壁國包括中非共和國、蘇丹(Sudan)、烏干達(Uganda)、盧安達(Rwanda)、蒲隆地(Burundi)、坦尚尼亞(Tanzania)、尚比亞(Zambia)、安哥拉(Angola)，迵幾內亞灣(Gulf of Guinea)。
1960年對比利時(Belgium)獨立。
